About Us
Toys for everyone!
ToyBox Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to spreading joy and happiness to children in need across South Wales. Our benefactors primarily reside between Brecon and Vale of Glamorgan and Bristol to Swansea
Our year-round operations are based in a toy warehouse in Caerphilly. Here, we collect, organize, and distribute toys to bring smiles to the faces of those who need them the most.
Our mission is to make playtime accessible to every child, regardless of their circumstances. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to experience the magic of play and imagination. At ToyBox Project, we are committed to making a difference in the lives of these children, one toy at a time.
We are a team of dedicated individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact on our community. Together, we work tirelessly to ensure that our fundraising efforts and volunteer programs are successful, allowing us to reach more children and brighten their days with the gift of play.
We provide free toys to the NHS, schools, community groups and families in need.

Our Story
The ToyBox Project was founded in 2020 by James Morgan (GP Practice Manager) with a simple but powerful goal, to ensure every child experiences the joy of play, regardless of their circumstances. What began as a small community effort from a spare bedroom has grown into a compassionate network operating from our dedicated toy warehouse. The project collects pre-loved toys, books, and games, giving them a second life by rehoming them with children and families who need them most. Each donation is carefully cleaned and sorted before being shared with schools, community groups, and families across South Wales, spreading happiness, creativity, and connection one toy box at a time.
Rooted in kindness, sustainability, and community spirit, the ToyBox Project helps reduce waste while supporting families who might otherwise go without. By keeping thousands of toys out of landfill and redistributing them where they’re needed most, the project promotes both environmental and social good. With the support of volunteers, donors, and local partners, our toy warehouse has become a hub of hope and generosity, a place where simple acts of giving create lasting joy and meaningful change.
